STREET STYLE – GRADUATE FASHION WEEK 2013 EDITION #1

So i’ve decided to create a new series based on the street style of fashion enthusiasts in and around London. For this first edition I will be covering the stylish people who came to the graduate fashion week 2013 event. Its always nice to find inspiration in other people’s styles, not just to benefit your own style but also to get a feel of what the latest trends are and how people decide to express their individuality!

Cocktail Classes @ Millennium Hotel London Mayfair | 4 star hotel in Mayfair

The Millennium Hotel in Mayfair Invited me and Gemma to go for a cocktail class and a tour of the hotel a few weeks ago. We were given a tour by Asem who was great as a tour guide and told us so many historical facts about the original hotel. The hotel was originally called Britannia hotel in 1969 and then it became Millennuim hotel as we know it in 2000.

The hotel is located on Grosvenor Square and is walking distance from oxford street, regent street and not too far from hyde park so its great for many who decides to book a room you will have plenty of places to go, where shopping is concerned. The hotel has a number of 366 rooms and all guest rooms have Wifi internet access, flatscreen TVs and other room facilities like a dial telephone, available tea and coffee, hairdryer and iron. Its a beautiful Hotel and is the definition of London luxury and not only do millennium hotel exist in London Mayfair but in other locations around the world like New Zealand, Dubai, France, China and many more, so keep in mind this hotel when planning you next vacation.

Cocktail Class!! - Too Much Fun!!

Millennium Hotel Hotel In Mayfair Held a Cocktail class for Bloggers and it was soo much fun! Not only did we learn how to make a cocktail but we took part in a quiz where we had to remember everything thing our tour guide told us in order to answer the questions. There was also a competition to draw a cow in a small amount of time and the best cow won.. unfortunately I didn't win but it was still so much fun taking part. Over all this event was a really good relaxing casual night and would definitely do it again and maybe book a hotel when Ive got the money to do so! My Look: Kimono, aztec vest, round Sunglasses, Chunky heels! - Desire Clothing, Topshop, Ebay

*Items sent to me.

Kimono - Topshop
*Black Sling-back Platform - Desire clothing
Aztec Vest - Topshop
Leggings - Brick Lane
Rings - H&M
Round Sunglasses - Ebay
Chocker necklace - Vintage
Red lipstick/ pencil - MUA Superdrug

So Its been nice where I am right now, this week; a little bit of sun and so I decided to throw on the kimono, sunglasses and heels. Got really excited lol. I absolutely love this outfit of all my recent items and after stressful times at uni I decided to play about and have fun with colours and textures. I’m recently into the red lip.. I thought it would be a beautiful clash with the rest of the outfit. Both the aztec vest and the kimono are from Topshop. I really like the quality of both items... the fringing effect on the kimono is something I adore and love it on anything. I’m planning to get a leather shoulder bag with fringing soon.

I absolutely love the black sling-back platform by desire clothing.. I picked it because it totally matches my style and it’s a really good summer buy and surprisingly it’s really comfortable too for a 6-inch heel. These heels would also go madly amazingly with a midi skirt and a trendy wide rim hat. But for this outfit I believe that the kimono really balanced the skintight leggings out and gave it that edgy look. But anyways I love this summer look and I can’t wait to feature more summer looks and items! If you like this post follow and comment!
