Nothing but H&M - Outfit Diary

Bomber - 59.99
Knitted jumper - 24.99 (10£ on sale)
Slit shift dress - 12.99
Boot heels - 29.99

You can't really go wrong with H&M at the moment. Every item i'm wearing is from there (thinking face emoji). I didn't plan it but it just so happens that I work there so it's inevitable. Can we please face the elephant in the room? (hiding monkey face emoji). So its been approximately one year, two months and twenty days since my last outfit post. It's been a while, but decided to add this post for old time sake. I do miss documenting my outfit journeys and the take a break from blogging was much needed, so I could concentrate on other creative areas of interest too. Being 23, older and wiser, still wearing a lot of black (exaggerated awkward smile emoji) i'm happy to be back to let out creative bursts when I can, even if it's just for me.

5 Reasons Why I love Air Bnb?

Air Bnb has totally changed the game in the last couple of years and I have been a big fan. Last year, I was fortunate enough to visit New York and enjoy AirBnb for the first time abroad. Most recently I visited Airbnb here in London. The experience was everything I imagine, both here and the US. I will tell you 5 reasons why I love it.

1. Simple and Easy

The process of booking and payment is all done online with communication with the host, closer to the time of arrival. The process always baffles me, how extremely easy it is to stay over at a strangers home. But, Airbnb do it in a way which is easy to book and pay and it is also safe. This multi million pound brand have you covered in case anything happens in the case of an unlikely unfortunate events. Contact with the host has always been smooth with no hiccups. It definitely helps if the reviews are all positives too.

2. Affordable

First of all, the price has been the main selling point when searching for a place to stay. Searching for places to stay gave me an insight to how expensive hotels can get and it opened my eyes to how much money I can be saving when traveling.

3. All around the world

I love the fact that I can go anywhere with confidence, knowing I can find a place to stay that I can afford. This could either be a room or an entire house in any country, which gives me the flexibility in my plans.

4. Rent out an Air Bnb as something else

Here in London I visited an studio apartment that was originally and still is a photography studio space for a East London photographer. The plans were to use the space hold auditions as well as to stay the night if needed to. Airbnb can host to not just stay the night but for any function you need it, depending on the hosts requirements. We used it to hold audition for a film, but if you want to hold a gathering of friends or a dinner, Airbnb will give you the freedom to do so.

5. Find cool Authentic Spots with real character

The formal setting of hotels can get boring and commercial. Airbnb seems to give people the opportunity to experience the real cities in real locals homes in all it's glory. The hosts also gives advise for the best places to go and eat, based on their experience. These cool areas and Airbnb homes can usually be full of character making it very easy to produce Instagram style photos as memories.

How I look Casual For Uni In The New Year...

Bomber - Blitz Vintage    High neck Top - H&M    Jeans - Charity Shop    Flatform Trainers - Asos

Happy New year! Its been a while, but now back with evengencce as I have spent the last year figuring out my style and my life. Coming back with much simple outfits suitable for my stressful hectic life as an architecture student. It dawned to me that I wear a ton of black and have started to break it up with colour here and there. You are gonna see much more practical outfits, many with the attack of my white trainer obsession and my love for turtle necks. Have a good start of the year!

So I've been in New York and the style in there had so much character yet diversity and I wanted to capture current trends in the area of hipster town Williamsburg and Bushwick. Lets say its the Shoreditch of London! As it's a super gloomy day right now back in London I'm hoping that this post will brighten up the day. Its a reminder of the beautiful weather and people I encountered. Hope you enjoy!

Favourites from Superdrug stores!

Hi y'all! I'm starting to get into the healthy side of me these last few weeks and these are a few products that have been doing the trick to my progress on the road to a better me. Ok yes I know. There are healthier ways, but losing 10 pounds in 4 weeks is my goal along side better looking skin is what I want to achieve. I wanted to try these products that were sent out to me, to help me achieve it. As I said in previous posts I want to try out newer products and let you all know about it if they are worth telling!

The Superdrug Collagen and Copper Food Supplement has a number of 30 tablets and are meant to be taken once a day with a meal which I did, missing out a couple of days here and there. It is supposed to maintain smooth, firm and beautiful looking skin as well as reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. As I'm only 21 and have close to zero amount of wrinkles, I was sceptical about how much of a difference I would notice. Surprisingly I did see a difference towards the last stages of taking the tablet, but it could be due to it working with an improvement of my diet changes. My skin looked clearer and a more even colour throughout my body. Though the changes were slight, it was a hassle to take the tablets daily. I would recommend try it out if you want that clear glow holiday look, but be prepared for your skin to bounce back after you have stopped taken the tablets.

The lighter life meal replacement bars are a life saver and by far the most surprising product. I was surprised by how much I noticed the change in my metabolism. Example day; I woke up about 9.30am and ate a slice of toast and a banana. An half hour later I took one of these replacement bars. I then went to work. Low and behold my energy levels were normal I didn't feel hungry till about 6pm. I thought this was pretty impressive seeming I love to eat and can eat for England! I liked how I can control my eating habits with this bar in the future. The only bad thing would be, some of the bar flavours tasted a bit rubbery, but not all of them. They were still edible. haha. Overall a good product from Superdrug stores because it did the job.

My last favourite is a weird one for me because I have tried to back away from weight control tablets for a while. So I'm writing this from a very closed book approach. This product is a meal supplement and should not be replaced by a well balanced diet and so it was totally opposite to the meal replacement bars. Again it did the job. Although I was eating my normal meals, I was eating in moderation and slightly less than I would normally do. Surprisingly I got no side effects though I thought I would. Again I started to notice the changes towards the end of the tub. Another con would be the fact I would have to take the tablets 3 times a day which became a hindrance within my daily duties.

Let me know guys of what you think of Superdrung brands? Have you tried any and what do u think of my review?

Stripes and all - Wishlist

Stripes and all

Stripes and all  sharon-dixon Follow me on Polyvore! This board is featuring an areca palm

These are my current wishlist and yes, of course - its minimal. I'm going to wear black for as long as I can before the heat waves hit London but, for now It's classy black and comfy casual looks that keep me going this spring. I'm forever in a relationship with my wide rim hat fedoras and it always brings a bit of glam to a dull outfit. Striped tops is another must have piece you must have in your wardrobe and this long sleeve one would be great on day to day errands and can also be dressed up too. Simple, simple, simple accessories is the way forward or none at all is the for the minimal look.

Out and about - Press days - April '15

Some of the brands I like : Toyshades - Nailberry - Bomb Cosmetics - Moyou - Maple and Fits

Hey I know, it's been a while.. *awkward face*, but I wanted to share a few photos from the last week of press day runs. I have really been drawn to many newer brands and i'm liking some of the fresh products that have caught my eye and of course the brands that work really well and seem to be good value for price. So I want to reintroduce this new series again - it's called 'out and about'. It won't just be press days and new products, but a celebration laid-back spontaneous photography while i'm out and about in London. The products that I have captured today are some of my favs and maybe you should look out for these brands in the future!
